Gameplay generally focuses on exploration, solving puzzles, navigating hostile environments filled with traps, and fighting enemies. The franchise focuses on the fictional British archaeologist Lara Croft, who travels around the world searching for lost artefacts and infiltrating dangerous tombs and ruins. The franchise is currently owned by CDE Entertainment it was formerly owned by Eidos Interactive, then by Square Enix Europe after Square Enix's acquisition of Eidos in 2009 until Embracer Group purchased the intellectual property alongside Eidos in 2022. EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 4th.Tomb Raider, known as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider from 2001 to 2008, is a media franchise that originated with an action-adventure video game series created by British video game developer Core Design. This appears to be a new price low at Steam!Īll these games run on macOS and Windows (if you own both computers, you can install them on both). $13.05 Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, this seems to have the DLC - Mac & PC.$5.99 Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, this includes the $3.99 Season Pass - Mac and PC.Additional DLC pack with 5 additional skills for 97 cents: Agility Skill, Animal Instinct, Headshot Reticule, Pistol Burst, Pistol Silencer, and 3 skins that are in the bundle possibly some overlap with the $3.87 bundle.Only about half the DLCs are MacOS compatible and this does not contain all the Mac content. $3.87 GOTY Bundle with base game AND 15 DLCs.$2.24 Tomb Raider game - macOS and PC.I've not tried the others, I figure by the time I get through this and the other backlogged games I own (plus Apple Arcade), then Shadow will be down to $5.99. This plays great on my M1 Mac Mini with 8GB/256GB on Big Sur via a controller (8BitDo SN30 Pro+) on my 27" 4k display with the app running from an external 1050 Mbps SSD. If you want it all, then get the $3.87 GOTY Bundle and the DLC bundle for 97 cents and I think you have all the PC/Mac DLC content for this game. I'd don't think I've seen all this any cheaper. So for $1.47 ($0.97 + $0.50) plus the $2.24, a total of $3.71, this looks like it might be a more complete and useful deal for Mac users (as all the DLC works for Mac). FYI, comments on this appear to be that it's pretty short. ![]()
